Periodic table

This is where we find the principles of homoeopathy.

Especially the field of mineral remedies has experienced a strong development over the last years. This trend began with the work of Jan Scholten and was continued by Rajan Sankaran and his understanding of kingdoms and the periodic table. The work of these two homoeopaths has lead to the prescription of thitherto lesser known or even unknown substances. In order to make all of them available, we have produced an immense number of mineral remedies for your convenience.

Demonstration of Silica terra

1. Fine grinding of quartz.

2. Mixture of ground quartz and soda is molten in a platinum pan until it stops  booming. SIO2 + Na2 CO3 ––> Na2 Si O3 + CO2
3. The product of this reaction (sodium silicate) gets turned into a powder and is dissolved in water.

4. When left in an clime that is rich of CO2, the reaction described in step 2 is reversed and the watery silicic acid seperates.

5. Drying and and washing with ethanol (96%).

S. Hahnemann, Chronic Diseases, Vol. V

Demonstration of Hepar sulfuris calcareum (calcium sulfide)

Obtained by the reduction of calcium oxide with sulfur. In red glowing heat oyster shell (CaCO3) turns into CaCO2 + CaO and carbon dioxide exhausts. According to this chemical formula, the calcium oxide reacts with the sulphur and turns into calcium sulfide and sulphur dioxide, which exhausts. The resulting sulphuric acid is removed by washing with ethanol (96%).

S. Hahnemann, Chronic Diseases, Vol. III

Demonstration of sulphur (flower of sulphur)

Raw sulphur from Bolivia gets molten in a test tube and sublimed from one end of the tube to the other. This sublimate then is washed with ethanol (96%), dried and turned into a powder.

S. Hahnemann, Chronic Diseases, Vol. V
